Edna-isms, Part Eighteen

1.  "I feel like I've been pulled through a knothole backwards!"  A well-known phrase she often used.

2.  "Mine and Yourn."  Probably the English teacher coming out in her--if "my" became "mine," then "your" should become "yourn."

3.  "Thin as frog's hair."  This is always how she referred to her own hair, which was very thin hair indeed.

Whenever I read these posts it makes me miss your mother! Her use of the English language was an art. It was always a delight to have a conversation with her!
