Today marks nineteen years since my father passed away.
Here are a few pictures from his life.
My father is the baby in this very vintage photograph and he is pictured here with his parents and older brother Winferd. This is one of my favorite pictures.
Here's my dad and a friend as teenagers.
Here is Dad on his LDS mission to the Southern States.
Here is Dad while he was in the military in WWII.
Here are my parents on their wedding day.
This is how I remember my dad looking when I was in elementary school.
Here's Dad rounding up cattle--a common thing for him to do.
Here is our family in the mid-60s (on our front lawn, no less). Photo was taken by a traveling photographer.
Our family in the late 70s.
Here is our family just about three years before Dad died.
Here is Dad in his older years, reading--probably the biography of President Ezra Taft Benson or another church-related book.
Here are Mom and Dad.
I have been lucky to have such good parents who were also good people.
Nineteen years ago today, Dad passed away. See ya later, Dad.

Yes, they were very good people.
I loved this post. Thank you so very much for posting! I look forward to showing Ryan tomorrow (he's already gone to bed tonight) - he speaks of his grandpa a lot and will love to see these photos.
What a wonderful tribute to your father. I loved seeing all of the great photos. He was a good man!
I loved your parents, but was scared to death of your dad. He used to yell at us for jumping in the hay. Such great pictures of your family and that old blue car in the background, isn't that the one you used to drive all around your property?
