4 Packet Roast

Here is another stab at being a domestic blogger.  I came across a roast recipe at www.sisterscafe.blogspot.com that is delicious.  I made it this week and liked it so well that I forgot to take pictures!
Here it is:

4 Packet Roast
1 packet ranch dressing mix
1 packet brown gravy mix
1 packet Italian salad dressing mix
1 packet onion soup mix
1 roast of choice
1/2 to 3/4 cup of water
Assorted veggies, if desired [I used carrots pretty much whole and some onion slices]
Place roast in crock pot.  Arrange vegetables around the roast.  Sprinkle the mix packets over the roast.  Pour water around the roast.  Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.

This was so easy and good that I wanted to pass it along.

Please see this advisory note about some tips on using this recipe.  Enjoy!

This sounds delicious. I'll give it a try next roast-day.

Crazy combination of packets, but if you say it good, I'll give it a shot!
