At L's request, we had preference dinner at our house. L and I put our heads together and came up with the decorations. As we do every Thanksgiving or when we have a big family meal, the family room was cleared of furniture and tables and chairs were brought in.
L insisted on the color scheme of white, black and silver. This is one of the two tables and some of the wall decorations.
Here is the "buffet" with all the yummy food. There were twelve kids (six couples) and each girl brought some of the food. I did not have time to take pictures before all the couples came (because we were busy with last minute prep), so I didn't take as many pictures as I would have liked. But you get the idea.
L and I really enjoy doing stuff like this--the decorating. Lovely.

There is a mistake here--we had 12 kids (6 couples)--so not such a huge crowd.
I love how beautiful everything looks. This is amazing! I am praying for a miracle that I can move to St. george and we can do more of this in the future! No job prospects...but I can pray for a miracle...right?! You are amazing!
