OK, I'll give the answer for the "quiz" in the last post. That picture is taken in La Verkin on 300 South near the highway, looking south toward the hot pots. It doesn't look at all like La Verkin to me.This picture is of my mother and her friends--they called themselves "Our Gang." Mom is the gal with the white sun glasses on. It looks like they were having fun! My mother's friend (second from the left) just sent a copy of this photograph to Mom.
School starts a week from today. The summer seems to have just flown by so I am not quite ready to send the kids back to school but I am looking forward to getting back on a schedule. I've been working on getting the kids outfitted for school and, other than shoes and school supplies, I'm nearly done.
This Saturday, our Young Men/Young Women combined activity is to go to "Cove Fort Days." I'm looking forward to that. They are supposed to have food, pioneer demonstrations, displays and, of course, there is the fort itself to tour.
