The Birthday Season

 Every year we leave the holiday season and enter the birthday season at our house.  

This year, we have had one child turn 16!  Happy Birthday to our own mermaid!

We also pause in our birthday season to remember a gal who left us a year ago this month and whose birthday would be today. Fare you well, Mom, until we meet again.

On the horizon, we have the big 18th birthday for our first born.  

Where can the time have gone and can high school graduation be just around the corner?

A day with a 1000 things to do

When you have a 1000 things to do, what do you feel like doing?  

Anything else.  

That about sums up my day today.  

Although I've been busy today, it was with other things that weren't "on fire." 

 So I am posting some pictures (don't I look busy in the first one?!) although these are a year or two old.  

After a cold winter, I liked the look of "spring" in these photos.

Now I'll get back to work. . . .
